The working trip to Gomel region of the president of Belarus - Aleksandr Lukashenko has taken place on July, 16th 2010
The President’s business trip has begun with agro town Holmech visiting. This agro town is in Rechitsa district, in the south of the Gomel region. Acquaintance with agricultural work of "Agro factory Holmech", consideration of the questions, concerning harvesting in the Gomel region and in the Republic as a whole were trip purposes.
For local people the arrival of the President is the event. So to listen to president’s speech and to ask the question to him on the central square of a city practically all local people were going to, also people from neighboring villages arrived, and also the representatives of the enterprises of Recites district, including the delegation from JSC "Rechitsa textile". In total on the central square of the town were about 3, 5 thousand persons.
It was noted by all people that the agro town has changed greatly. No there are many social objects. The musical school for children has opened, school of arts, the big club is constructed. Live dialogue with local people lasted more than an hour.
In the end the President thanked people for work, meaning the development of their region. On the following day the President’s business trip throughout Gomel region was prolonged.
